12. Click "Style" to choose between 12 different templates for your captions
13. Click "Edit" to customize your captions (font family, size, and color)
14. "Font Color" is the color of the standard font in the frame
"Highlight Text Color" refers to the word currently being spoken that gets highlighted
15. Besides font color, you can also adjust the outline and shadow
Outline: The border or edge around the letters - this can help words stand out
Shadow: A faint, dark copy of the text placed behind it to make the words to stand out
16. Click "Edit" to edit your text
17. Click specific word to easily edit them by typing the desired word in its place
18. Click "Trash" to indicate that you don't want to use that caption entirely
19. Deleted text won't disappear completely but rather will be muted to indicate that it is not being used.
If you decide that you want to add that caption, click the "Undo" icon
20. Click the "Find and Replace All" icon
21. For example, I said "just" a lot but I didn't want that in my text so I decided to replace it with a space. It gave me 3 phrases that contained "just". I could have replaced "just" in individual phrases by selecting the phrase and navigating to it but I chose to replace all of them by selecting "Replace All"
22. Click "Find and Replace Filler Words" to get rid of filler words
Filler words are words like "um", "hm", "so", and "ah" that people use subconsciously to fill space.
23. Click "History" to see the history of what you have changed in the subtitles
24. Click "Save Transcription" to save the changes that you made to the transcript
25. View the text with the video in the "Timeline" slide your cursor along that layer in the timeline
