There are 2 ways to navigate to the Video Clipper

2. 1) Click "Video Clipper" icon in "Favorite Modules" on the Dashboard

3. 2) Click "Edit"

4. Click "Video Clipper"

5. Click "Create New Clips"

6. Click the "Title" field to add a new title

7. Insert the material for your clip by clicking "Select Video", "Select Podcast" or "Upload Video"

• You only need to do 1 of the 3 not all 3
• If you select podcast and only insert and audio recording it will not give you visual so your customized captions will not be applicable

8. To upload a video select upload video then select one of the given options options and click "Select"

9. Select 1 of 5 caption styles

10. "Font Color" is the color of the standard font in the frame

"Highlight Text Color" refers to the word currently being spoken that gets highlighted

• This color can be changed by typing in a specific hex code or selecting the colored dot

11. "Processing Timeframe" indicates what timeline you want the clip to be pulled from

12. "Preferred Clip Length" tells AI how long to make the clips. You can select multiple different options for clip length. The time length will be within these options

• Auto (0m - 3m)
• 0s - 30s
• 30s - 60s
• 60s - 90s

13. Click “Number of Clips Wanted” to indicate how many clips you want of a specific video

• Request up to 3 clips total

14. Select 1 of 5 options under "Clip Layout" to adjust the layout of the video in the clip

• 16:9 - Landscape, perfect for YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn
• 1:1 - Square, recommended for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
• 9:16 - Portrait, recommended for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and Facebook Reels
• 2 Person Grid - to be used if you have 2 videos you would like to show at the same time in 1 clip
  • For example, use this if you have 2 speakers and you want both of their videos to be showing at the same time
• 3 Person Grid - to be used if you have 3 videos you would like to show at the same time in 1 clip
  • For example, use this if you have 3 speakers and you want to show all 3 of their videos at the same time

15. Click "Add Website Logo" to simply add your website logo to the video to brand the video

16. Click "Create My Clips" to start AI generating your clips

• Note - This could take 3-4 minutes due to the fact that the AI needs to scan the whole file to select the most important parts and create the

17. "Suggested Clips" will appear with your AI generated images

• You must keep the video to save your clips otherwise you will lose them

18. "Transcript" will show you the copy of the video. This can be edited by simply clicking the "Edit" button

• Copy: Written words to promote, introduce, or describe

19. Click "Social Caption" to view an AI-generated caption that can be used on social media with your clip. It will generally include a few hashtags

• This can be edited by clicking "Edit"

20. Click "Keep" to save the video

• Once you have kept the video, the green "Keep" button will disappear

21. Click "Discard" to delete the clip entirely

22. Click "Open in Editor" to open the whole clip in Editor - PodUp's editing software - to adjust the clip

23. Click "Share" to share the clip with your integrated social media platforms

24. Select which social media channels you want share the clip to by selecting the check box next to the social platform or clicking "Select all" at the top

You can also choose

25. Click "Copy Link" to copy the link to just the video

• If it successfully copied, the screen will flash with a blue checkmark that says "Copied"

26. Click "Schedule Post" to select a specific time to post rather than posting immediately

27. A date box will allow you to select the date and time to publish your clip and its caption to your social channels

28. Click "Download" to download the video file

29. Click here.

30. Click the check box on the left-hand side to allow you to delete multiple clips

• Note : This option will not appear if you only generated more than 1 clip

31. Click "Return to listing" to return to the main page that lists all the video clips

32. Click "View Clips" to open the clip view

33. There are 2 different display options

• Grid View is displayed here with all the videos laid out side by side
  • Access the file actions for a specific video by selecting the 3 dots on the right hand corner of the video preview
• List View is like the display shown earlier when the video clips were initially created
  • All the file actions can be accessed through a button menu on the bottom of the video

34. Click "Create New Clips" to generate new clips

• This will be as if you are generating a clip from scratch. It will not save the video or the color and style preferences
• This screen will look the exact same as when you generated a clip the first time

35. Click the 3 dots to select "Delete" to delete the video clips in that file

36. After you select delete a popup will appear. Click "OK" to confirm that you want to delete the video

37. A popup will appear to let you know that the deletion has been successful. Click "OK" to exit out of the popup
