How to Create a New Webpage in PodUp – Step-by-Step Guide

Creating a New Page in PodUp's Page Builder

This guide offers a straightforward process for creating a new webpage using PodUp's Page Builder, making it accessible even for beginners. By following the simple steps, users can efficiently design and customize their pages to meet their specific needs.

1. Click "My Site"

2. Click "Page Builder"

3. Click "Add New Page"

4. The "Add New Page" appears

5. Add the title to the "Title" Field

This will be seen on Google when someone searches for the page

6. Add what you want the name of the page to be in the URL.

Note: You don't need to add the full URL, just the text or numbers that will follow your domain name. If you want it to be multiple words, it will create hyphens between the words, which will allow Google to distinguish between the different words.

7. Add a description of the page to "Description"

This will be seen on Google when someone searches for the page in the description section under the page title

8. If you want this page to be your home page meaning the first page users will see when they come on your website check the "Home Page" box

9. Select the desired header for the page from a drop-down list of your header options.

Note: You can create specific headers in "Header and Footer"

10. Select the desired footer for the page from a drop-down list of your footer options.

Note: You can create specific footers in "Header and Footer"

11. Add a Meta Title which is the title that will appear next to the favicon at the top of the browser. This can be the same or different from the title but they should work together

12. Add a few Meta Keywords into the Meta Keywords section which tells google what your page is about

13. Write a Meta Description which summarizes the value of the page and includes keywords naturally

14. Add an OG Image - the image people see when sharing your web page - here. You can upload a file from PodUp File Manager or from your computer

15. Select the "Status" as per your need

  • Published: Live and visible to the public.
  • Draft: Not live, still being worked on.
  • Pending Review: Not live, awaiting approval before going live.

16. Click "Create"

17. A new webpage opens up

Customize the page as peryour need and Click "Save"

18. You can see the created page listed in the pages list
