How To Navigate My Site Comments (Detailed)


This guide offers a straightforward approach to managing site comments on PodUp, empowering you to maintain a positive online environment. It outlines essential steps for approving, unapproving, or deleting comments, as well as editing user input for clarity and accuracy. By following these instructions, users can effectively enhance their website's interaction and ensure that it reflects their desired tone and standards. Accessing and managing comments has never been easier or more efficient.



2. Click "Grow"

3. Click "My Site Comments"

4. You will find all the comments on your website listed here

5. Click "Action" to get a dropdown list. Select the option that you want to keep

  • Approve: Allows the comment to be publicly visible on the site.
  • Unapprove: Hides the comment from public view without deleting it; it can be reviewed or edited later.
  • Delete: Permanently removes the comment from the site and the system.

Click "Apply" to Approve, Unapprove or Delete

6. You can filter your comments by clicking the "Select Status"

A dropdown list will appear where you can select 1 of 2 options to filter your search

  • Unapproved
  • Approved

7. Click "Edit" on an individual comment to open a new window where you can edit the comments and save them

8. "Edit Comments" window will let you edit the comments made by the users

You can edit the typing errors made by the user and even change the status of the comments

Click "Save" or "Cancel"

9. Click the back arrow to return to "My Site Comments" homepage

10. Click the 3 dots icon to view more actions

11. Click "Approve" to change the comment from "Unapproved" to "Approved"

12. A confirmation will appear asking you to approve the change

13. Click "Approve" to change the comment from "Unapproved" to "Approved"

  • If the comment is already approved "UnApproved" will appear instead of "Approved"

14. Click "Show replies"

15. It will open you to a page where you can access the replies to the selected comment, where you can then search for approved and unapproved replies

16. The 3 dots icon will allow you to access the following actions

  • Approved/Unapproved: Change the status of the comment
    • Approve: Allows the comment to be publicly visible on the site.
    • Unapprove: Hides the comment from public view without deleting it; it can be reviewed or edited later.
  • Reply: Respond to the comment with a reply of your own
  • Delete: Permanently delete the comment

17. Click the back arrow to return to the main page

18. Click the 3 dots icon.

19. Click "Reply" to directly reply to the comments

20. A pop-up will appear allowing you to add your comment by clicking the "Comment" field then selecting "Submit" to save or "Close" to cancel

21. Click the 3 dots icon

22. Click "Delete" to permanently delete the comment

23. A pop-up will appear asking for confirmation that you wish to delete the comment

  • Click yes to confirm the deletion
  • Click no to keep the comment
