How do I configure share settings for my podcast?
By following this guide, you can easily publish your episodes on various social media channels, enhancing your podcast's visibility and engagement.
1. Navigate to https://app.podup.com/home
2. Click "Create"
3. Click "Podcast Episodes"
4. Click "Create Podcast"
5. The ‘Create Podcast’ page will open.
6. Click ‘Publish Locations’
7. Select Episode Type
- Full: A normal episode
- Trailer: Short attention-grabbing preview that explains what your podcast is about and who it's for
- Bonus: Extra content outside your main release schedule
8. Select Rating
- Not Set: No rating assigned; may limit visibility.
- Clean: No profanity or adult content; safe for all audiences.
- Explicit: Contains strong language or mature themes.
9. Set season number, episode number, and author name
- Season Number: Groups episodes into a series or release cycle (e.g., Season 1, Season 2).
- Episode Number: Shows the episode’s order within its season (e.g., Episode 3 of Season 1).
- Author Name: Displays the creator or publisher of the podcast
10. Select the platforms where you want to share your podcast.
11. Turn on "Share Podcast"
Make sure the the box is blue
12. Click ‘Select Account’ for the chosen platform.
13. You can select multiple social media platforms to publish your content.
14. After selecting the required accounts, scroll down and click ‘Save’.
15. Once the podcast is published, it will be shared on the selected platforms.
